I make figurative three-dimensional sculptures from clay, wire;I consider my work as narratives, and my main theme is memories of childhood , borrowing freely from diverse cultural traditions specially my country of birth, Brazil. My characters and stories are formed by the presence of clothing and objects of comfort, moments in the past, imaginary friends, creating metaphors intimately associated with nostalgia, loss and belonging inviting the viewers to contemplate the inner universe of each piece and to establish a connection with their own childhood.
